About the Recipe

When Halloween candy collides with creativity, you get Boo Bark — a colorful, crunchy, chocolatey masterpiece that’s part snack, part art project. Swirls of white and dark chocolate form the base, sprinkled with pretzels, candy corn, googly-eyed sweets, and whatever spooky-cute chaos your imagination can muster. It’s festive, fast, and frighteningly fun to make — perfect for party trays, gift bags, or that inevitable “one more piece” moment long after the trick-or-treaters have gone to bed. Boo Bark proves that sometimes, the best Halloween magic happens when you don’t color inside the lines.

Ingredients

  • Two 4-oz semi-sweet chocolate bars (coarsely chopped)

  • Two 4-oz white-chocolate bars (coarsely chopped)

  • Festive Halloween candies: eyeball sprinkles, M&Ms, Halloween sprinkles.

Preparation

Step 1

Line a large baking sheet with parchment or silicone mat.

Step 2

Melt the semi-sweet chocolate (double boiler or microwave in 20-sec increments) and white chocolate similarly.

Step 3

Pour melted semi-sweet chocolate onto the sheet and spread to ~8×12 in rectangle. Drizzle or pour white chocolate on top. Use knife/toothpick to swirl them together.

Step 4

Immediately sprinkle the Halloween candies on top; press lightly so they stick.

Step 5

Chill until firm then break into pieces. Store in fridge [or cool room] in airtight container.
