11 Dead, 9 Injured in Monterey Park, CA Mass Shooting

On Saturday, 11 people were murdered and nine others left injured as a result of a mass shooting that took place outside of a crowded dance studio in Monterey Park, California.

Authorities say the suspect---identified as 72-year-old Huu Can Tran---fled the scene and traveled to nearby Alhambra, where he entered a second dance hall and was subsequently disarmed. Tran was found the following day, dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was found inside of a van in Torrance, approximately 30 miles southwest of Monterey Park.
