About the Recipe

There’s no trick to these treats—just a few strawberries, some white chocolate, and a whole lot of spooky charm. Strawberry Ghosts are the sweet little spirits that appear when dessert and Halloween collide: juicy berries cloaked in smooth, creamy white chocolate, with dark chocolate faces that make them as hauntingly adorable as they are delicious. They’re the perfect no-bake confection for kids, parties, or anyone who loves a good boo-berry moment. Simple, festive, and frighteningly good!

Ingredients

  • 12 fresh strawberries [washed & dried]

  • 4oz. white-chocolate chips/melts

  • 36 mini chocolate chips [for faces]

Preparation

Step 1

Clean & dry strawberries [leaving the leaves on]. Let them come to room temperature [~1 hour].

Step 2

Melt white chocolate in microwave [30sec increments] or double-boiler until smooth.

Step 3

Holding strawberries by the leaves, dip into melted white chocolate; allow excess to drip off; place on parchment.

Step 4

Immediately press on mini chocolate chips to form eyes [and maybe mouth] for a ghost face.

Step 5

Chill ~5min in fridge until set. Then serve or store for a few hours at room temperature [or longer in fridge].
